Feeling good about the community you live in can be just as important as selecting the right home. Having lived in the greater Milwaukee area for most of my life, I can help you find a neighborhood that best suits your needs. Below are a couple of the neighborhoods I specialize in. I also am very familiar with all neighborhoods along Milwaukee's North Shore including but not limited to, Shorewood, Glendale, Whitefish Bay, Bayside and Bayview.
Riverwest is located just to the west of the Milwaukee River and it has a culture all its own! Riverwest is best known for its diverse community which lends to its awesome nightlife and cool cafe scene. The neighborhood is also a host to many festivals such as Center Street Daze and Locust Street Days as well as being home to the state's largest walking tour of artists' homes, studios and neighborhood galleries called the Riverwest Art Walk. Over the past couple of years, Riverwest has really started booming and becoming a new hot Milwaukee neighborhood which makes it a great place to live!
The Historic Third Ward is home to Milwaukee's Arts and Fashion District as well as the largest collection of independently owned restaurants, galleries and boutiques in Milwaukee! This neighborhood is located just south of downtown Milwaukee. It's close to downtown, the lake and all major highways which makes it the ideal place to live. If you ever get the chance to explore the Third Ward I suggest walking down the Riverwalk and stopping in at the nationally acclaimed Milwaukee Public Market for a sweet treat, glass of wine or a lobster roll!
Downtown Milwaukee (East Town, Yankee Hill, Juneau Town)
Downtown Milwaukee is the heart and pulse of the city! East town is home to many residential buildings but it is also known as the financial district. This area of Milwaukee is rapidly growing and becoming the ideal place to live for millennials and empty nesters alike! This area of Milwaukee is extremely diverse in your living choices. Take your pick from high-rise condominiums, art-deco style apartments, studios, brownstones and Victorian homes. Wondering what you can do for fun? The Milwaukee Art Museum, Discovery World, Macrus Center for Performing Arts, Pabst Theater, Betty Brinn Children's Museum and Cathedral Park are just blocks away! All in all, Milwaukee Downtown is a great place to live, work and play!
